The CMEF (full name: China International Medical Equipment Expo) exhibition venue is held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center, which is a large-scale exhibition complex jointly established by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in 2011. The project, with a total investment of about 16 billion yuan, is invested, constructed and operated by the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The total construction area of the National Convention and Exhibition Center is 1.47 million square meters. Among them, the above-ground area is 1.27 million square meters, which integrates exhibitions, conferences, events, commerce, office, hotels and other types of businesses. It is currently the largest single building and exhibition complex in the world. The main building is shaped with a stretched and soft four-leaf clover, adopts an axis-symmetrical design concept, and embodies many Chinese elements in the design. It is one of the landmark buildings in Shanghai. It has a long foothold with breakthrough design and perfect functions.
